Ok that last part is totally not true.  I actually couldn't imagine doing this until relatively recently. And not because I wasn't interested, but I just didn't see myself as a creative person.  

I actually planned to be pharmacist for most of my adult years, I spent 8 yrs in school and studying things like organic chemistry and pharmacokinetics and working in pharmacies . and piling up student loans. because I was good at it and it made sense. But I was miserable.

 

I finally decided to free myself from the misery and drop out of school and wasn't sure where to go next but was convinced that if I put just as much work into whatever was next, I could be more successful and happy than I would be in the field I was in. And thats pretty much exactly what happened. I figured out I love photography and videography and poured myself into learning the craft and making it work.
